How many of us even have an inkling of what a
free country would look like?
One thing for sure, it would not have any
resemblance to the good ole’ U.S. of A.
Just consider a few things that come to mind:
1. Since 1865 the Southern States have been
occupied by a foreign power, forced into an involuntary political union at the
point of a bayonet.
2. The state demands an accounting of every
penny that you earn and furthermore demands to take their extortion from the
top, before you even see your earnings. And the state also demands to skim a
portion of every transaction that takes place in the world of individual
commerce.
3. To start a business you must obtain the
permission of government. And then you can only operate that business in
accordance with the dictates of the state and as they skim their portion from
the top of your earnings.
4. You may not purchase a new firearm without
the permission of various levels of government. And then that firearm must meet
certain requirements imposed by the state. And then you may only keep and bear
that firearm as allowed by the state.
5. You may not purchase and live upon a
property without paying yearly extortion to the state in the form of property
taxes. The property never really belongs to you; for the state will take it
should you fail to pay their extortions.
6. You cannot purchase and operate a motor
vehicle without first obtaining permits, licenses, tags, insurance, and all
manner of permissions from the state.
7. You may not make decisions about your own
health care, for the state demands that you purchase insurance or pay a penalty
for failing to do so.
8. You cannot make decisions about the
education and upbringing of your own children, unless those decisions fall
within what the state has decreed to be allowable.
9. You cannot purchase light bulbs or toilets
or motor vehicles or children’s sleepwear or meat or eggs or milk, etc., unless
those items conform to government dictates.
10. You cannot grow certain plants that are
not favored by the state without fear of incarceration and even death.
11. In some areas you cannot even collect
rainwater that falls from the sky onto your own property.
And yet the sheeple mindlessly sing-a-long: “I'm
proud to be an American, Where at least I know I'm free . . .”
Free?? How so exactly? I might ask.
I recently saw this challenge: “Name two
things not Taxed, Regulated, or Controlled by the government?”
That’s not an easy challenge to answer,
particularly if we limit the answer to things beyond the merely frivolous . . .
and the government generally gets its hands even into those endeavors.
Is there anything beyond the reach of
government? Evidently not. Why the Empress Obama just decreed that your local
schools must allow males into the female restrooms and lockers.
Nevertheless, the sheeple continue on: “And I
won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.”
Rights come from God -- Not from governments.
What “rights” or “freedoms” do we have today
that we would not have had the Amerikan Imperial Military not invaded places
like Korea and Vietnam and Grenada and Panama and Iraq and Afghanistan and
Libya and . . . well the list is almost endless.
Indeed what freedoms do we have today that we
did not have after the First American War for Independence (1775-1783)?
On the other hand, what freedoms have we seen
forfeited since the Lincolnian vision prevailed after the defeat of the
Southern Armies in the Second American War for Independence (1861-1865)?
And it is not just the South that has lost its
freedom; the entire country suffers under the Leviathan government that
emanates from Babylon on the Potomac.
I’m thankful that I do know true freedom. The
only freedom that will endure.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
(John 8:36)
I have but very little hope for freedom in
this country, but I will continue to fight on for the sake of my posterity that
must inherit the mess that we leave behind.
Deo Vindice!
TRUST GOD!
STAY IN THE FIGHT!
NEVER GIVE UP!
NEVER QUIT!
