For many years now I have been telling my wife
that I’ve lived for way too long. Most often it is in reaction to the latest perverse
madness that I see reported on the nightly news. But also I see what has happened
to my home state. Florida has been invaded and occupied. We have been inundated
by unfriendly aliens from Yankeedom, from Latin America, and even from the Middle
East. Florida will never be restored to what it was in my youth. I hate to
admit it, but we have been forever changed – terribly changed for the worse.
Unfortunately, this is essentially the same for
all of our beloved Southland. Realistically, there seems to be no prospect for
improvement. We are outnumbered and overpowered in virtually every arena.
But I do NOT have to change. My little corner
of the world does NOT have to change. I will continue to fly the flags of my
ancestors. I will continue to display Confederate memorabilia and portraits. We
will continue to mark Confederate Memorial Day. We will continue to abjure the
yankee realm. The remembrance of what Dixie was (and still is in my heart) will
not disappear until they have laid this old body in the grave. And even then, I
pray that there will be a remnant that still unfurls and advances the banner of
truth in the face of the demonic onslaught.
This is what the front of my yard looks like
24/7:
(NOTE: Pictured is our recently departed boxer,
Nathan Bedford FORREST. FORREST was a beloved friend and protector for almost
13 years. He was born on Confederate Memorial Day in 2006 and a true and faithful
Confederate.)
Here is what my front fence line looks like
when we meet as a church on Sunday and when Free Florida First meets on the
third Monday of every month:
This is what the front of our meeting house
looks like:
To the left is the Seal of the Confederacy. In
the center is the flag of the Marion Light Artillery, the unit my
Great-Great-Grandpa served in during the War Against Northern Aggression. The
flags displayed are the Third National of the Confederacy and the flag of the
Sovereign State of Florida. You will NEVER EVER see a striped yankee rag
displayed here. NOT EVER!
The meeting house (and my own residence
upstairs) is filled with Confederate memorabilia and paintings of Confederate
heroes.
Here’s what our flag pole looks like, 24/7:
So y’all, DON’T SURRENDER, DON’T COMPROMISE,
DON’T HIDE, DON’T COWER, DON’T DENY, NEVER BE ASHAMED! They may not like it,
but I intend to be a thorn in the side of political correctness until the Lord
has called me home.
I don’t understand why my Sovereign Lord has deigned
to allow these terrible circumstances to transpire, but I do know that it is
accord with His perfect and decreed will, and I accept it as from His hand. I
remain convinced that He works ALL things together for the good of His chosen
people (Romans 8:28). I also remain convinced that our duty is to stand and to
do right and to fight the good fight, so long as we draw breath.
I endeavor to say with the Old Testament
saint, Job: “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain
mine own ways before him.” (Job 13:15).
The time approaches when all will be set
aright, until then, let us do our duty. And don't let them forget who you are!
