Back in 2009 the U.S. Navy
came out with a new recruiting motto: "America's Navy: A
Global Force for Good."
I mean really, who could
believe that kind of tripe?
In any case, it was abandoned in 2015. Evidently
there were too many casualties from the violent laughter.
But never let it be said that the Amerikan
government will let a stupid idea die a quiet death.
That inane motto was recently resurrected in
the aftermath of the illegal, immoral, and unconstitutional assassination of an
Iranian general in Iraq.
After the Iraqi parliament voted to demand the
removal of U.S. troops from their country, because of the violation of their
sovereignty, the U.S. State Department issued a statement titled: “The US Continued Partnership with Iraq.” That statement rejected
the call for the removal U.S. troops from Iraq, and asserted that the US
military is a “force for good” in the Middle East with a right to continued presence
in Iraq. Where is the “good” in that? Or where is the “right”? Or how exactly
does this constitute a “partnership”? I know not.
The liberal New York
yankee in the White House and all of his cohorts reject the principles
enumerated in the Declaration of Independence. Trump does not believe in
self-determination, nor in government by the consent of the governed. Like his
bloody Republican predecessor, Ape Lincoln, he believes only in power and
empire.
If you are still a blind supporter of Donald J.
Trump and the Evil Amerikan Empire, may I suggest you make a beeline for the
nearest military recruitment station. Or perhaps you could direct your own sons
and daughters, or grandsons and granddaughters, to do so.
But then again, it is possible that you
suffer from bone spurs as does our great hero and Commander-in-Chief, Donald J.
Trump!
Except for that
disability, I’m certain he would have been a highly decorated warrior.
So as you argue, in
agreement with the State Department and Donald Trump, that “America is a force
for good in the Middle East”, you might consider the words of the prophet Isaiah:
Isaiah 5:20 – “Woe unto
them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light
for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
Once again I state for
the record: “Ain’t my flag; Ain’t my country.” Just in case anyone’s wondering.
