The Law of Holes

Most of us know the first law of holes: “If you find yourself in a hole, STOP DIGGING.”

An important corollary to remember is: “Even after you stop digging, you are still in a hole.”

This well describes the current situation in Amerika as it relates to the Covid-19 Scamdemic Panic.

Governments at all levels, from the presidency on down to our local mayors, have placed the economy in a hole from which there will be no extraction. Don’t fool yourselves. There is no recovery on the horizon. There is no normal to return to.

Everyone seems to be in search of a solution. Truth be told, I don’t think there is one.

So, what can we do? All that we can do is RESIST!

Don’t participate. Don’t comply. Don’t consent. Don’t contribute to making the hole any deeper.

Stop believing Trump. Stop believing you congresscritters. Stop believing you mayor. Stop believing the CDC and the WHO and the NIH.

Stop giving in to the fear.

Stop being controlled.

Can this mess be fixed? Probably not, but you can keep yourself from being sullied and corrupted by it.

Resist at every opportunity. Ignore stupid and unconstitutional edicts. Encourage others to do so as well.

An all sovereign Lord is still in control and is working His perfect will in all things. Yes, this too is the hand of God!

Daniel 4:35 
And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Ephesians 1:11 
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Amos 3:6 
Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

Even evil men are used to carry out His decrees.

He used the wicked Pharaoh.

Romans 9:17 
For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

He even used the wicked men who crucified our Lord.

Acts 4:26-28
The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

We need not fear the petty tyrants that the Lord raises up, be they Trump, or Pelosi, or Bush, or Fauci, or Brix, or Obama, or Clinton, or Biden, or Gates, etc., etc. Ultimately they are doing His will, though they do not intend to do so.

Acts 2:22-24 

Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Psalms 76:10
Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

OK, I didn’t really intend to preach today, but I needed to hear these things, even if no one else did.

Let us trust God and do right.

Psalms 37:3
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

In spite of all apparent obstacles, let us stand fast.

Ephesians 6:13 

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Let us trust that He is working all for the ultimate good of His chosen people.

Romans 8:28-31
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

So, if we are at the end of our ropes, let us tie a knot and hold on.

Revelation 2:24-25 
But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
