(Mo)Ron, There Ain’t No “Free State of Florida”

Wherever he roams, Ron DeSantis brings greetings from what he calls: “The Free State of Florida.”

 

Please give me a break, Ronnie!!! The government of Florida does not acknowledge God-given rights. Just try to open carry a firearm in Orlando and see what happens. And those Red Flag laws imposed by Florida’s last carpetbagger governor, Rick Scott, are still on the books, without any opposition from Ronnie boy. Yeah, there is no “due process” in Florida.

 

Make no mistake about it; Ron DeSantis is a dyed-in-the-wool unrepentant CARPETBAGGER.

 

According to Wikipedia: “All of DeSantis's great-grandparents immigrated from Southern Italy during the first Italian diaspora [approximately 1880-1920]. His parents and all of his grandparents were born and grew up in Western Pennsylvania and Northeast Ohio.”

 

Yes, Ron happened to be born in Jacksonville, Florida, but there is absolutely no evidence that he has any appreciation for Florida’s Southern culture and history. He was educated at Yale and Harvard, and it shows.

 

Admittedly, people may grow, and learn, and change, but Ronnie has NOT – and he’s demonstrated that!

 

Consider now the suppression of free speech and expression in Florida.

 

In May of this year Ronnie signed into law HB 269 and you can rest assured that it will eventually be used to prevent you from displaying the flags of your fathers.

 

In accordance with Ronnie’s new law, a man was arrested for “hanging swastikas and other antisemitic banners along the Daryl Carter Parkway Bridge in Orlando.” [From the FDLE Press Release]:

Understand that I brook no sympathy for the Nazis. They are, after all, SOCIALISTS AND NATIONALISTS!! I advocate for true LIBERTY for everyone. That includes FREE SPEECH!

But Ronnie’s new law makes it a crime to display a flag on so-called “PUBLIC PROPERTY”, should the governor happen to disagree with it. Do you think Ronnie reveres our Confederate banners? Can’t you see where this is going?

 

There are already laws against trespass. There are already laws against damaging the property of others. But Mr. DeSantis’ new law will be enforced against specific people, and specific banners on roads, thoroughfares, bridges, etc.. Now don’t hold your breath waiting for this law to be enforced against the LGBTQ sodomites. Don’t hold your breath waiting for this law to be enforced against the racists of BLM. That ain’t gonna’ happen! But you can rest assured that it will soon be enforced against Confederates like you and me.

 

I expect that soon we will be told that it’s a violation of the law to display Confederate flags on your vehicle, at your own home, or upon your own person. After all, someone may not like it. The governor may not like it.

 

For instance, NASCAR is already there:

 

You’ll note that there’s no mention of BLM or LGBTQ flags or imagery.  In fact, they are usually invited and embraced.

 

Note that these people consider the symbols of our culture and our history to be “obscene.”

 

Do not do business with them!!

 

Do not vote for them!

 

RESIST!!!

Live as free Southern Christians!!

Secede in your own heart and mind!

Abjure the Realm!!!

Continue to Educate Yourself and Others While It Is Still Possible

This week’s blog is an update of one I originally posted in 2016.

I felt the need for an update in light of some of my most recent dealings with Fascist Book.

Over the past couple of days I've received several warnings offering me the opportunity to alter my behavior before they ban me -- this seems to be a new thing.  An example appears below:

I guess that I’m not doing very well at Fascist Book reeducation camp, and I always select “Post anyway.”

Then I get another subsequent warning something like this:

I've declined each offer to submit to their tyranny and always selected “Ignore”.

At the very least, it looks like their AI “fact checkers” cannot understand sarcasm!

Mark Twain has been credited with saying: “If you don’t read the newspapers, you are uninformed. If you do read them you are misinformed.”

Until relatively recent times, there were few alternatives to the corporation newspapers, and their successors, the corporation broadcasters.

With the advent of the internet, a plethora of news sources opened up, many of them solid and reliable; and some perhaps not so much. One can, however, become a well-informed and rational thinker by carefully searching through the reliable information that is available on the internet today. I seek to do this daily as I visit a multitude of web sites including, Lew Rockwell, The Ron Paul Institute, World Net Daily, Newsmax, The Rutherford Institute, American Thinker, Breitbart, The New American and many others – and adding in for good measure some reliable and intelligent bloggers, like The Captain’s Journal (Herschel Smith).

I would encourage everyone who reads this to make every effort to educate themselves as well. If you don’t believe that you have the time to visit these sites every day, I would encourage you to at least browse through our weekly paper, Just for Your Consideration. I compile it from information that I consider to be of interest and value gleaned from a multitude of sources.

These alternative and reliable sources of information are increasingly coming under attack. Virtually all of those mentioned above are being designated as “fake news sites” by the government bureaucracy, the corporate media and those who control the gateways to the internet such as Google and Facebook.

Those who desire to control us are none too pleased that you have sources of information other than their agreed upon and vetted propaganda.

Moves are underway to restrict the free flow of information on the internet by any means possible. The past is being rewritten and the present is being obscured in order to usher in a future that our controllers have planned for us mundanes. It is a future envisioned by George Orwell as a boot stamping on a human face.

Further Orwell noted: “He who controls the present, controls the past. He who controls the past, controls the future.”

You can rest assured that our enemies are doing all they can to control the present . . . and thereby the past and the future.

RESIST . . . EDUCATE YOURSELF . . . EDUCATE OTHERS.
