Free Florida First had a productive and interesting day at the 2021 Newberry Watermelon Festival this past Saturday. We had 81 folks sign up for our flag raffle and will thus have the opportunity to send them additional information about our organization and encourage them to join us in the struggle for a Free, Independent, Godly, Prosperous and Traditionally Southern Florida.
Several folks expressed their appreciation to us for our presence at the festival. Others were surprised to see us there at all. At least a couple of folks indicated that they thought displaying the Confederate Flag was actually illegal. Yes, this is what we’ve come to, Compatriots.
We sold $337 worth of flags that will hopefully now go on display at the homes of the people who purchased them. We gave out literature to several hundred folks, and free handheld battleflags to scores of young people.
We are just a handful of folks. We’re not very influential, but by the Grace of God we will stand and we will encourage others.
Our Lord is not constrained by numbers, as we see in the example of Jonathan and his armour-bearer as they faced the wicked Philistines (basically old-time yankees) all alone.
1 Samuel 14: 6
“And Jonathan said to the young
man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these
uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no
restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.”
We believe it is increasingly important for us to simply stand and show our colors in this oh so politically correct day in which we live. We do this not simply for ourselves, but for the generations that are coming after us. If they are to stand for the truth and for our heritage and culture, they must be instructed in it. It is incumbent upon us to do so.
You may think that you can’t do much. That doesn’t matter. JUST DO WHAT YOU CAN! The Lord is not constrained by numbers!

Happy to see that you had a good reception at the festival, Pastor! It is so important that we all continue to take whatever steps we can, no matter how small they may seem to us at the time to try to improve our homeland. I'm the anonymous commenter who, some time ago, you rightly told not to refer to you as Reverend. For many years I eschewed, computers, so I'm still not that good with them, but I finally figured out how to comment logging in using an email account that doesn't use my real name. Sadly, we've frittered away the right to free speech that our illustrious forebears won for us through the sacrifice of blood and treasure in the 1700's, by letting it get to the state we find ourselves in now where, though the Yankee government cannot jail us (yet) for what we say, we face the prospect of losing our means of supporting ourselves and our families by being fired if the petty minions of the tyrants are able to trace us when we speak the truths they disapprove of on the internet today. They think they are dominating us, but I suspect they will someday find that their efforts have only served to make us into adept spies and intelligence agents. I was also the gentleman who recently posted about how good it was to see you commemorating your ancestors on the Confederate Memorial Day post for last year. I know I said I would write more, but I fear I have been a poor correspondent. I'm am now trying to rectify that by catching up on and commenting on your posts for the past year. Keep up your good work, the Good Lord knows we need all the help we can get!
