Who Is the Enemy?

I grow weary of these contemporary freaks in sheets and their fellow-travelers -- you know, the National Socialist (Nazis), the League of the South, the White Nationalists, etc.. They blame all of the South’s woes upon the “International Jew” (according to Matthew Heimbach, founder of the Traditionalist Worker Party) or “Organized Jewry” (according to Michael Hill, President of the League of the South). Both Heimbach and Hill are college educated men. Hill was, in fact, a professor of History at the predominately Black, Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Shouldn’t these men have a little bit better grasp of the true History of the South?

In an article entitled: “The South and Its Jews,” published in the Southern Partisan Magazine in 1991, Charles Goolsby refers to the recollections of Bernard Baruch, whom he calls “one of the South’s most distinguished Jewish sons”:

Bernard Baruch, recalled the emotion that gripped him at the age of six, when he and his brother opened a mysterious trunk hidden in the attic of the Baruch home in Camden, South Carolina. An eager search yielded his father’s well-worn Confederate army uniform. Beneath the uniform was a more thrilling discovery, “a white hood and a long robe with the crimson cross on its breast – the regalia of a Knight of the Ku Klux Klan. . . . to children in the Reconstruction South, the original Klan, led by General Nathan Bedford Forrest, seemed a heroic band fighting to free the South from the debaucheries of carpetbag rule. To my brother and me the thought that Father was a member of that band exalted him in our in our youthful eyes.”

Chew on that a while, you miscreants who claim to be in succession from that original Klan. You don’t know any more about the original Klan, than you do about Robert E. Lee, and you have no warrant to associate yourself with either of them, nor with the honorable flag of our fathers.

That father to whom Mr. Baruch refers was Simon Baruch, Surgeon for the Third Battalion, South Carolina Infantry. Simon “saw action in the bloodiest battles of the war and wrote a treatise on bayonet wounds that was still being used by army surgeons as late as World War I. . . . Bernard’s uncle Herman Baruch had been a Confederate cavalryman. His great-uncle Fischel Cohen was General Beauregard’s telegrapher. Like their Gentile countrymen, Bernard Baruch’s kinsmen had gone to war to preserve a culture and heritage – a heritage in which the Jews played a notable part.” (Goolsby)

Goolsby also makes note of many other Jews who faithfully served their home states in the Confederate Army, Navy and government:

Captain Levi Charles Harby resigned from the United States Navy in 1836 to aid the struggling Texas Republic. In 1863, as a Confederate naval officer, he distinguished himself in the defense of Galveston. He later commanded a fleet of gunboats on the Sabine River. . . . During the War Between the States, twelve hundred Jews served in the Confederate forces. The best known of these, Judah P. Benjamin, held, at various times, the highest posts in the government – Attorney General, Secretary of War, and Secretary of State. . . . aptly called “the brains of the Confederacy.” As United States Senator from Louisiana, Benjamin had eloquently defended the South’s position on slavery and the Constitution. He had turned down President Pierce’s of a place on the Supreme Court to champion the South in the Senate. Unlike his co-religionist Senator David Levy Yulee of Florida (the first Jew elected to the U.S. Senate), Benjamin was not a fire-eating secessionist. He pleaded for compromise, but, finding none, followed his native state into the Confederacy. . . .

Southern Jews flourished in the Confederacy with 23 staff officers, in addition to Surgeon General David De Leon (General De Leon went to Mexico at the war’s end rather than surrender); A. C. Meyers, Quartermaster General; and Assistant Adjutant General J. Randolph Mordecai. On the battlefields from Gettysburg to Galveston, Jewish Confederates won high honors. Isaac Heymans was wounded seven times in the course of the war. Captain Jacob Valentine fell in the gallant defense of Ft. Moultrie, South Carolina. Lt. Albert Luria of North Carolina seized the colors from a fallen comrade at the battle of Seven Pines and was killed while rallying his company to the attack.

Further Goolsby notes:

Anti-Semitism is not unknown in the South, but it has been much more at home in the North. Bernard Baruch recalled that “in South Carolina we never had suffered discrimination because we were Jews.” But on the first day in New York City, local toughs greeted him with shouts of “kike.” He noted that while he was repeatedly black-balled from New York City College fraternities, his brother was quickly and easily pledged by the best fraternity at the University of Virginia.

The most notorious anti-Semitic episode of the period was the work of “Unconditional Surrender” Grant. On December 17, 1862, Grant issued “General Order No. 11,” expelling “the Jews as a class . . . within twenty-four hours” from his theater of operations. Assistant Secretary of War Wolcott heartily approved such action against “Jews or other unprincipled traders.” Without judicial warrant, trial, or any process of law, Southern Jews were driven from their homes. Those who refused or attempted to return were subject to immediate arrest and imprisonment.

We would do well to remember that anti-Semitism is a tree that grows strong and tall in its native yankee soil, and we Sons of the South should separate ourselves from it.

Do we have Jewish and Black enemies? Most certainly we do -- perhaps they are in the majority of those groups, but almost certainly we face far more White Gentile enemies (in total numbers); and in my view, many of those enemies wear sheets or wave flags with swastikas or a black “X”.

This picture above tells me all that I need to know about the present day League of the South, particularly when I know that the man in the picture is numbered in its leadership.

I will defend your right to be and say whatever you desire (however distasteful I may find it), just so long as you do not encroach on the God-given natural rights of others. I will even defend your right to your delusions and hate. I just wish that you would not besmirch the honorable flag and name of our Confederate ancestors when you do.

A FINAL NOTE: All men are in need of a Saviour. This is true of unregenerate Jews and unregenerate Gentiles alike, including many deluded folks who might self-identify as Christians.

Matthew 7:20-23
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  (21)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  (22)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

1 Corinthians 1:23-24
But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;  (24)  But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

And that’s all I have to say about that . . .

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

If we read the Psalm in its entirety, we find the answer.

Psalms 11:1-7
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?  (2)  For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.  (3)  If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?  (4)  The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.  (5)  The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.  (6)  Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.  (7)  For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

We might summarize that answer thusly: Continue to trust God; Continue to obey His revealed will; Continue to do right.

On every side the wicked are destroying the foundations. No surprise -- that’s their nature.

They seek to tear down every remembrance of our Godly Confederate ancestors and every acknowledgement of their righteous Cause.

There is very little we can do to stop them. Some of those poor deluded souls who marched in Charlottesville chanted: “You will not replace us”, while bearing flaming torches. I know, calling them deluded is giving the benefit of the doubt to some, who undoubtedly simply sought confrontation with their perceived enemies. Enemies that are ever so just like themselves in their tactics and in their desire to impose their statist vision on others.

The truth is, we have been replaced on campuses like the University of Virginia. We have been replaced in cities like Charlottesville, with their Carpetbagger mayor and their White-hating vice-mayor -- and this is generally the case all across our beloved Southland in the larger cities and at the centers of “higher learning”.

So, what is the dedicated and patriotic Southerner to do?

Continue to do right! Continue to stand! Continue to trust God!

Some may have grandiose ideas of seizing our lost campuses and cities, but that is clearly beyond our present power. We can, however, do what we can do.

- We can secede in our own hearts and minds. Abjure the yankee realm.

- We can refuse to fly the striped rag of our occupiers.

- We can refuse to join their armed forces.

- We can refuse to recite their South-hating, socialist “Pledge of Allegiance.”

- We can hoist our own Battle Flags on our own private property.

- We can refuse to yoke with those who may superficially resemble us, but whose goals and principles directly contradict our own and those of our forebears -- such as the Nazis and the modern Klan (that has no real connection to the original organization of that name – not historically, not politically, not philosophically, not morally).

- We can fly your own state flags in the place of the Evil Amerikan Empire’s flag.

- We can withdraw our consent in any number of ways, by refusing to participate in their bogus political dog and pony shows. [I won’t vote in a national election for the next emperor to occupy the throne in Babylon on the Potomac]

- We can withhold our support from those who hate our guts, be they corporations or industry or sports, such as the NCAA, the SEC, NASCAR, the NFL, the NBA, MLB, etc., etc.

- We can form and support small local organizations like Free Florida First and meet together to educate, and to encourage like-minded folks.

- We can display our Southern culture in our own dress (T-shirts; lapel pins; ties, etc.).

- We can install Southern Crosses of Honor on the graves of our Confederate dead.

- We can visit historical sites; battlefields; monuments (that still exist) and show our support for the Cause.

And I’m sure you can think of much more. Perhaps we cannot prevent the destruction or relocation of monuments to the South’s righteous cause, but we can erect our own monuments in the clothes we wear, the bumper stickers we place on our vehicles, the pictures we display in our own homes, etc.

Do you bemoan the loss of a Confederate memorial and yet you do not yourself display any remembrances of the Confederacy in your own home or upon your own person?

Let us be our own memorials to those who went before us in word, in deed, in dress, and in decor.

Suppose our children can no longer see any memorials to the Confederate Cause in the public square – let them see them upon their parents and grandparents.

When the children of Israel crossed into the Promised Land, the Lord instructed Joshua to erect a pillar of stones that would be a memorial to subsequent generations, and that would serve to elicit questions from the youth.

Joshua 4:6-7
(6)That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones?  (7)  Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

We cannot depend upon a world that hates us and our ancestors to raise or maintain our memorials. We must do it ourselves.

Let us go our own way. Let us build our own culture. Let us, by the grace of God, live FREE!
