What will you do when comes the inevitable gun ban?

A friend recently suggested that I read a blog entitled: “Preparing for the Inevitable American Gun Ban.”*

I found the first part of that three part article to be in accord with what I have thought and anticipated for some time now.

The author says: “A full gun ban in the United States is inevitable. Any honest reading of the cultural, legal, and demographic trends in the United States will confirm this thesis– the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall be infringed, and we will lose our firearms.”

He goes on to note several things that make a gun ban inevitable. Amongst them: a permanently changing culture, the loss of a Biblical world view in America, secularization and multiculturalization of our values, a post-Constitutional legal environment, changing demographics via immigration, etc.

In part three of the article the author concludes: “Our nation and our people have changed, and our laws will follow. Human nature will not change. It is my belief that our future will be defined by the heavy hand of government. Scripture teaches that a centralized, oppressive regime will rule mankind in the last days. . . . One day we will be declared enemies of the state and will be prosecuted and persecuted to the point of death. The only defense against this inevitability is an armed populous.”

I think he is on the mark as far as that goes; however, in the second and third parts of the article he deals with how to avoid the registration and confiscation of at least SOME of your weapons by obfuscation, clever ploys, burial, etc. My response is: Why hide? (even if we assume that such is a workable alternative).

If registration is demanded, simply REFUSE to comply. Civil disobedience is the appropriate response until actual confiscation is undertaken.

I believe if we attempt to hide all or a part of what we possess we will have already admitted defeat. Once we resort to cowering to anti-liberty governmental edicts, we will only grow progressively weaker over time. If actual confiscation begins, that will be the time for active resistance. Waiting and hiding will only lead to ultimately doing nothing at all. It will lead to a continual hiding and cowering and inaction. It will lead to a piecemeal surrender.

Once confiscation actually commences, those ordering it and those actually undertaking it will have proven themselves to be the enemies of liberty and of a God-fearing and peaceful populace. They should thenceforth be treated enemies. They will have initiated an act of war. They will have commenced what should develop into “Fourth-Generation Warfare.”

That means that there can be no “safe spaces” for our enemies. They should not be able to go home in peace after a day of confiscation and tyranny. The alternative to commencing Fourth-Generation Warfare is to acquiesce and silently go into the dark night of despotism for ourselves and our posterity.

This is something we must give some serious consideration. Right now, before the crisis is actually upon us.

What are you prepared to do to preserve liberty for yourself, your children, and your grandchildren? You need to know the answer to that question now. Will you follow in the footsteps of our Revolutionary and Confederate forebears, or will you surrender all to a Godless and tyrannical government? Will you consign yourselves and your progeny to lives of craven slavery, or will you act the part of a man, and stand and fight?

The time may be very short. One recent example of what is surely coming our way may be found in the words of Daryl Fisher, who is the Law Enforcement Training Director for Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College. Fisher is currently running to be the Sheriff of Buncombe County, NC. During a campaign speech he asserted:

“You’ve heard people say ‘You’ll have to pry my guns from my cold dead hands’ . . . . OK, he grinned and shrugged to delighted laughter and applause of the Bloomberg Moms.”

Yes, you need to realize that when “they” come for your guns -- “they” will be your local “law enforcement” and they will have made themselves your mortal enemies. What will you do? Now is the time to determine that -- now, before you are faced with that fateful decision.

I believe I know what our forebears would do:

Gun Control in the “Gunshine” State Courtesy of New York and Illinois

In the past, Florida has been referred to as the “Gunshine” State. Historically, our laws have recognized the God-given right to self-protection by whatever means necessary. (Though admittedly, I would be the first to acknowledge that they could have been much improved.)

 

Now it would seem that Florida is seeking to lead the nation in the imposition of liberty-denying, gun control legislation.

 

The horrible shooting that took place in Parkland was no doubt the catalyst for the recent tyrannical legislation. However, an honest evaluation of that occurrence would show that it was a failure of government, at virtually every level, that made such a massacre possible.

 

I suppose that I might be counted as insensitive for noticing, but it is readily apparent to me that those who are promoting Florida’s new found interest in gun control have something in common. Most of them are not from around here.

 

 

Take for instance, Andrew Pollack, a father whose daughter was fatally shot by Nikolas Cruz. I sincerely respect his grief and his anger and his desire to do “something.”  Though I suppose it would be much better to do something that could actually make a difference in the future. In any case, Mr. Pollack has become the face of the new gun control agenda in Florida. Below he is pictured next to Governor Scott, as he signs the gun control legislation recently rushed through the Florida legislature. (I will not call it “School Safety Legislation” – employing “newspeak” and calling it something other than what it truly is does not make it anything other than gun control and abridgment of God-given rights.)

 

 

I suppose that most of you have seen and heard at least one of the many interviews with Mr. Pollack. One thing becomes quickly apparent. He ain’t from around here. He does not speak quite like a native Floridian.

 

 

As best I have been able to determine, he came to our fair state in 1999, and he has evidently made little effort to acclimate. He obviously has not embraced our culture, or our history, or our way of life.

 

In fact in Newsday (a Long Island, New York newspaper) published an article in which he is identified as a “Long Island native,” who takes comfort in his “Long Island roots.” He was quoted as saying that he has “Long Island running through my veins.” Additionally, he reminds the paper that there is “No one stronger than a New Yorker.”

 

According to Newsday, “Pollack wants Florida to lead by being proactive about school safety, but he said he wants to see reform in New York next.” If that’s what he wants, perhaps he could just go back to Long Island and begin with his own people. Though I’m not sure what reforms he envisions for New York, as they already have some of the most draconian gun control laws in the country.

 

I recognize that we all have our problems. Southerners have their very own special brand of crazy, but we really don’t need yankee solutions to our problems. Indeed, on close examination, we find that many of these problems have been brought down to us by those same yankees who offer to impose their solutions.

 

 

Note just a couple more inconvenient facts:

 

1. The evil shooter in Parkland mass murders was adopted as a young man by a couple who came to Florida in 1996 from -- you guessed it -- New York.

 

2. Our governor, Rick Scott, who signed the recent gun control legislation is a carpetbagging native of Illinois, one of the most anti-liberty states in the country. This is not the first time that it has been made painfully obvious that he retains many of his Illinois values, attitudes, and methods.

 

3. Also consider this, even the Sheriff of the cowardly Broward County Sheriff’s Office, Scott Israel, is a native of New York and the son of a New York homicide detective.

 

 

My point? We really don’t need yankee values, yankee culture, yankee laws, yankee problems imported to our beautiful state.

 

We don’t need “feel good” yankee laws passed that actually accomplish nothing in preventing the next mass murder.

 

We really don’t need to add or impose anything new. What we really need to do is to abolish many things that already exist:

 

1. Abolish ALL government schools. Education is not a proper function of government. Government schools obviously cannot safeguard the physical safety of your children. (Not to mention its detrimental effects on their morals, culture, faith.)

 

2. Abolish ALL “Gun Free” zones. Almost all mass shootings take place in “Gun Free” zones. In reality these zones are “Free Fire” zones. They are potentially some of the most dangerous areas in the country.

 

 

3. Abolish ALL gun laws. All of them! Even the US Constitution recognizes that pre-existing, God-given, natural rights “shall not be infringed.” So, stop infringing!

 

 

Were these recommendations immediately implemented, mass shooting would soon be reduced to near zero, and should one be attempted, it would soon be thwarted.

 

I will conclude with these final words of explanation. I am not altogether opposed to those who would like to join us from the north. I would only ask that they embrace our way of life and seek to become one with us, otherwise, they should stay up north or return posthaste.

 

The fact is, some of the most devoted and committed folks who join with us at Free Florida First happen to have been born in the north, but they are now completely committed to the South and our way of life and I consider them true Southerners. They have joined our organization in seeking a Free, Independent, Godly, Prosperous and Traditionally Southern Florida.

Have you figured it out yet? If not, I’m guessing you never will.

So tell me something, all you Trumpsters, have you figured it out yet? Or will you continue to defend a man who has proven himself to be a liberal, New York yankee? I mean really; it should have been obvious from the beginning, but I was astonished that so many fell prey to the great deception -- folks who really should have known better. Are you awake yet?

Do you get it that Trump is a man without a political or moral compass? He is a man with no understanding of, or respect for God-given natural rights. Those rights that are supposedly protected by the US Constitution, a document which he swore to defend and protect.

Assuming that he is not removed from office, how many of you will be voting for him again in 2020? Really, it’s no wonder that this country is in the horrendous and irredeemable shape that it’s in.

I still hear folks lauding Trump for at least preventing the election of Hitlery Clinton.

Let me explain to you how that works. If Hitlery had been elected, those spineless politicians in the District of Corruption, those who masquerade as the opposition party, would have at least offered up a token resistance to her agenda. But you can now watch all these self-proclaimed “pro-Second Amendment” Republicans line themselves up with Trump’s anti-liberty diktats.

We have long passed the stage where voting for the next oppressors in Washington or Tallahassee (or your own state capital) will make any difference at all. If you are looking to elections and politicians for liberty, you are looking in the wrong place.

Don’t waste your time voting. Voting only encourages our handlers and lends your assent to an immoral and fatally flawed system. By voting, you become complicit in your own destruction.

Rather than voting, spend your time and energy preparing yourself for what may well be the next stage in this unfolding drama -- Voting from the rooftops.

Those who are amongst God’s elect should trust in God and rest in His Sovereignty, while preparing for what may well come next.

A Perfect Storm Is Brewing . . .

Some very general ramblings about our very particular circumstances . . .

To borrow from Amos, I make no claims to be a prophet, nor to be the son of a prophet. (Amos 7:14)

I can, however, observe the deteriorating political and social climate. And it appears that a great storm is brewing and being fed by numerous circumstances.

From 1 Kings 18:44,45:
“. . . Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.  And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain.”

Indeed, I believe that there is a “perfect storm” brewing and that we had best prepare ourselves for it.

1. The eventual attempt to disarm the populace [and it is abundantly clear that such is coming] will likely lead to a true civil war. And that storm cloud grows.

2. The coming inevitable collapse of the dollar and the Amerikan financial system cannot long linger. And that storm cloud grows.

3. The insane foreign policy of the Amerikan empire is hell-bent on fomenting war with Syria, or Iran, or North Korea, or China, or Russia, or perhaps all of them. And that storm cloud grows.

4. The godless Amerikan empire continues to murder its own unborn, as well as citizens of foreign countries far and wide. And that storm cloud grows.

Certainly other indications of the coming “perfect storm” could be enumerated, but this should suffice.

The political façade that is called the United States of America cannot be long maintained. It must soon collapse under its own weight, though that collapse will be hastened by  growing internal and external strife.

I am little concerned. I know that my Sovereign Lord is working His perfect will and that He is capable of bringing His own children through the coming storm. But I also know that we are to be prudent and to prepare ourselves for what is surely to come.

Proverbs 22:3: 
“A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.”

Luke 21:36:
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”

Let us be vigilant in our watching and persistent in our preparations. The storm draws nigh.
