Truth crushed to the earth is truth still . . .: Where Is the NRA? Who is the NRA?

Last year a Minnesota police officer murdered a concealed-carry permit holder as he peacefully sat in his car. Philando Castile was stopped for having a taillight out and immediately informed the officer that he had a valid permit to carry a firearm and that he was armed. The officer, who claimed to fear for his life, pumped four rounds into the man’s body (evidently missing with another three rounds at point-blank range) and then watched Castile’s life blood spurt out, as the man’s girlfriend and her little girl looked on. Surprisingly, the uniformed thug was actually charged with something -- second-degree manslaughter – there is little doubt that mere mundanes, such as you or I, would have faced first degree murder charges had we acted in a similar fashion.

This past week the cop was exonerated in court, not only of the manslaughter charge, but even of two counts of “intentional discharge of firearm that endangers safety.”

The victim in this case happened to be a black man, and his executioner was hispanic. But the simple fact is -- the government costumed thugs in this country have been given a free pass to act with impunity in their conduct and with immunity from any accountability.

There has been nary a peep from the great guardian of American gun rights, the National Rifle Association (NRA). The races of the victim and of the criminal cop are irrelevant. The NRA is essentially a tool of the Police State and they worship at the altar of the badged mafia. Indeed, the NRA was founded after the War Against Southern independence by the incompetent yankee general, Ambrose Burnside. It seems that the yankee leadership was disappointed in the marksmanship of union recruits and wanted to ensure that the northern populace would be better prepared to dispatch troublesome Southerners the next time they had the audacity to assert their God-given right to self-determination.

This episode, its aftermath and the lack of any meaningful reaction from the NRA are but further confirmations that God-fearing, Christian Southerners cannot trust the state’s police, nor the state’s courts, nor lap-dog organizations such as the NRA. I fully expect that the NRA’s man in the White House, Donald J. Trump, will stab all true lovers of liberty in the back before his term is completed – with the blessing of the NRA.

Christians, Southerners, we must be prepared to stand alone for our rights and our lives. No one else will.
