Ain’t my flag; Ain’t my country!

As seen above, I think it appropriate to repeat my frequent refrain this week. 

Those who have known me for any length of time won’t be shocked. 

To those who may be shocked by those words, I invite you to read on!

Just know, I’m in dead earnest when I say: “Ain’t my flag; Ain’t my country!”

There are a multitude of reasons for expressing such a sentiment, but I’ll just share this one for the moment.

The amerikan president, Old White Joe Biden, just appointed the thing pictured below to be an admiral of the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service.

Won’t it look wonderful in that naval uniform??

I know, some of you are already saying: but . . . but. . . but. . . but. . . TRUMP!!!!

Yeah, your liberal New York yankee messiah, D. J. Trump, wrapped himself in the LGBTQ flag during his last campaign.

And he also appointed a sodomite to head up the amerikan intelligence community! (Pictured below with his “partner”). Arguably, that is an even a worse action than Biden’s appointment. 

 

I’ve grown tired of those who continue to reverence the amerikan empire and all its false messiahs.

Perhaps you stand in need of an adjustment to reality. You know, like opening your eyes and ears!

Stop looking to the GOP and Trump and others. Start looking to yourself and standing with the handful of folks that you know you can trust!

Romans 11:5
Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

You know, that political knight in shining armor that you’re looking for? He ain’t comin’. Best mount up yourselves until the Lord Himself returns.

Gather with the Remnant

Free Florida First had an encouraging and productive day at the Williston Peanut Festival on Saturday (10/2/21). We were able to interact with scores of folks. We had over 90 folks sign up for our flag raffle and will be able to share a sample of our weekly mailing with them.

Giving out hand held flags to the youth that visit with us is always a tremendous blessing, and who knows what the Lord may bring forth from those seeds that are planted.

Free Florida First is a group of five “regulars.” Most of us are in our 70s. Our one “youth” is still in his 60s.

More often than not, our meetings consist of only our regulars, though from time to time we may have some visitors.

We do share audio and handouts from our meetings with the almost 400 folks on our email list.

I’ve said these things that I might make a few of points:

1. The Lord is working through a remnant. If you search the Scriptures you will find that He has always done so. Don’t waste your time and energy attempting to gather a majority. That’s not going to happen, but the remnant ought to seek to be as vocal and visible as possible, and perhaps the Lord will be pleased to add unto it. Don’t fret over “results.” Seek to be faithful!

2. Seek to gather with your remnant and encourage one another and reach out to others. Numerous folks expressed how encouraged they were to see us out at the Peanut Festival, and many expressed their agreement and support for our stand. Perhaps some will eventually be motivated to stand with us, but regardless, WE MUST CONTINUE TO STAND!

3. Don’t worry about fixing everything – it’s not going to be fixed until the Lord returns. Just take care of yourself and do right. Continue to march -- and above all else TRUST GOD!!

4. A final thought, if you are not on our email list, you might consider signing up for it now. I’m not sure how much longer we will be able to be on a platform like Facebook. I suppose they may eventually eliminate our email, but it will take them a bit longer to get around to that. For now, I send my blog and the paper I compile from numerous sources out every week. Free Florida First to Be at 32nd Annual Peanut Festival -- Saturday, October 2, 2021

Lord willing, Free Florida First will have a booth at the 32nd Annual Central Florida Peanut Festival on Saturday, October 2, 2021. The festival will be held from 9am to 3pm at the Heritage Park in Williston, Florida.

We have had a booth at the Peanut Festival for many years now. It is an opportunity to get ourselves before the public and let folks know that some of us still strive to stand in the old ways and ask for the old paths. We proudly display the banners of our fathers and encourage our fellow Southerners to work with us for a Free, Independent, Godly, Prosperous, and Traditionally Southern Florida. Essentially, we just want to be free from the tyrannical government in DC (the District of Corruption) and be left alone to live our lives as we see fit. [It really makes no difference at all who may happen to be in the yankee "White House".]

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. . . .

If you submit to the mandatory jab; you’ll submit to gun confiscation

I have been observing for some time now that we are at a watershed moment.

Folks are being required to dig down deep and discover who they really are. True character is being revealed in ourselves and in those who surround us.

Friends and family are being separated.

The Lord never promised us peace and unity in this life. We are called to stand and fight. We are called to follow Him at all cost.

Matthew 10:34-38
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.  (35)  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.  (36)  And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.  (37)  He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.  (38)  And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

This week I read a very touching, heartfelt and sad letter, written by a man to his vaccinated friend. That letter deals with the circumstances that many of us now find ourselves in. I believe it is all the Lord’s doing.

Below is my summarized version of the letter and I’ll also post a link to the entire article, which is well worth the read: 

“I love you for who you are. But I hate you for what you have done. You got the double jab. . . . You allowed yourself to get swept up in an insidious, mass propaganda campaign, thereby contributing to the most crippling calamity that the world has ever faced. . . . How is it that you caved so easily? . . . I feel betrayed, as if out of the blue you’ve gone to hang out with a gang of thugs I never liked: Big Pharma, Big Tech, Big Government, Big Money. . . . You are consorting with the enemy. You have put your trust in them yet they lie and are accountable to nobody. . . . Now you will be offered a ‘passport’ proving you’ve been ‘fully vaccinated’ that will allow you to go places where the unwashed and unvaccinated heathens, like me, cannot go. . . . Have at it while the going’s good. Knock yourself out. Don’t worry, be happy! . . . I stand with freedom. Freedom is more important than anything because nothing good and beautiful and true . . . can exist without freedom. And by defending freedom I am also defending life—mine, yours, everyone’s. . . . It is not in my blood—or the blood of other defenders of freedom—to kneel before despots. . . . This is war. And this war began, as all wars begin, with the only one real goal in mind: control.”

If the would-be dictators are allowed to get away with mandating “vaccines” there will no end to it. The path to complete enslavement will be very short. Next they will mandate the surrender of your firearms, and I am absolutely convinced that those who did not resist mandated jabs will also submit to firearms confiscations.

Governor Do Your Duty!!!

It is said that an old Greek philosopher once roamed the streets of Athens looking for an honest man.

 I was much impressed this week by a blog from Jon Rappoport.

Mr. Rappoport is looking for an honest and courageous man or woman. In particular he is looking for a governor with some REAL backbone, but we are talking about politicians here, so I’m not real optimistic, but still . . .

Anyway, Mr. Rappoport tells us the sort of things we need to hear and the sort of things we need to see implemented by any governor who is really serious about resisting the federal tyranny. 

I seriously doubt that this country can recover from the state that it finds itself in. But if it is to be salvaged, I think that the ideas of Mr. Rappoport, or some very much like his, must be adopted by every honest and dedicated governor in these united States, assuming that such leaders still exist. 

First I’ll share my summary of his thoughts, and then I hope you will be inclined to read his entire blog, which I will provide a link to. 

Extracted from “Biden’s Vaccinate Mandate: Open Letter to Governors Who Want to Fight Back” by Jon Rappoport: 

You’re going to hear many people saying the Biden vaccine mandate is unconstitutional and illegal. I agree. But that doesn’t mean this argument will fly in court. 

Do not be fooled into sitting back and blithely thinking legal arguments will win the day. Going to court is not nearly enough. You have to say: I’M NOT GOING TO ENFORCE THE FEDERAL VACCINE MANDATE IN MY STATE. THERE IS NO WAY THIS STATE GOVERNMENT IS GOING TO COMPLY. If you’re really serious, and not just pretending to be, that is what you have to say. No matter what.   

We’re in an extreme crisis here. Your solution has to go the distance. It can’t be a symbolic gesture. 

No one can guarantee an ultimate outcome. You’re promoting LIBERTY and RESISTANCE. We’re in a new 1776. You must find the passion within yourselves to rally the people to your side and the side of freedom. 

NOW. Will ONE of you go all the way? 

Mr. Rappoport declares that we’re in a new 1776. For us Southerners it could just as well be a new 1860. Regardless, the time is now for resistance!

We can hope that our governors will do the right thing, but regardless, we as individuals have an obligation to stand and fight when the time comes. And I believe that the time has come.

If you think the men who took up arms to fight in 1776 didn't have families to feed, you're wrong. Don't hide behind your family or use them to justify cowardice. Children need principles more than stuff. They need examples more than the newest toy. Women need men they RESPECT as husbands. Family is why you lead...not why you follow.

Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour’s landmark . . .

Many years ago I ordered a sampler of “Civil War” videos. One of the clips on that VHS featured a big burly reenactor reciting a very moving poem with tears streaming down his cheeks. I had no idea who that gentleman was.

I could not find a copy of that poem anywhere, so I transcribed the lyrics and I have recited them at our Confederate Memorial Day Observances ever since.

Some years later I encountered a gentleman selling his little book of poetry at the Olustee Reenactment and realized that he was the man I had seen on the video. I am thankful that I was able to meet him and shake his hand. Of course, I purchased a copy of his book and secured an inscription.

Unfortunately (for us who remain anyway) Sgt. Benjamin R. Gormley passed in March of 2005 at the young age of 59.

His booklet of poems is entitled “Haunted Fields” and is out of print, but may occasionally be found for sale on the internet.

The poem that so moved me was entitled “Atlanta’s Son.”

Below are the lyrics, as I transcribed them from the video, somewhat abridged from the version found in the little booklet.

Atlanta's Son

Above the banks of Peachtree Creek,
   The Georgia sky, looks down and weeps—
On soldiers’ blood in trenches spilled,
   ‘Midst dreams of a Nation unfulfilled.
   As part of freedom’s price to pay—
Atlanta’s son came home today.

Atlanta’s son came home today;
   His friends marched with him all the way.
In his tattered coat faded gray,
   They lowered down into Oakland’s clay—
   His grave unmarked until the day
When the wounded lion turned at bay,
   Still clutching our flag in his gory paws,
He roared defiance at Yankee laws—
   Then bowed his head and in slumber lay
   To guard the earth that enshrouds the gray.

Atlanta’s son came home today—
   And this time he’s come home to stay.

You will note that the poem makes reference to Oakland Cemetery and the magnificent “Lion of Atlanta” which until recently overlooked some 3,000 unknown Confederates buried there: “Still clutching our flag in his gory paws, . . .He roared defiance at Yankee laws— . . . Then bowed his head and in slumber lay . . . To guard the earth that enshrouds the gray.”

The monument was carved from Georgia marble by T. M. Brady and was dedicated on Confederate Memorial Day in 1894. It depicts a wounded lion, with a spear broken off in his back. The lion slumbers upon a Confederate flag.

My wife and I were fortunate to be able to visit the lion almost 20 years ago. At that time the lion had been unmolested and the gate to his enclosure was unlocked.

Of more recent years the lion, who resides in very secluded spot within the cemetery, has been vandalized on several occasions.

During one of the most recent criminal assaults someone actually attempted to destroy his beautiful muzzle.

To add insult to injury the elected officials (criminals) in Atlanta have recently removed the lion from where it had reposed for some 127 years.

Next I suppose they will seek to dig up and destroy the remains of all the Confederate soldiers in the cemetery -- and eventually in all the cemeteries.

And then they shall come for us, their living descendants and advocates.

All that remains in Oakland Cemetery is an ugly scar.

Rest assured, there will be an accounting . . . a reckoning.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

The old Baptist preacher R. G. Lee (1886-1978) was well-known for his sermon: “Pay Day, Some Day.” Pay day is certainly coming.

I accept that vengeance belongs to the Lord. But should He decide to sub-contract out that work, as He sometimes has in the past, I’ll be applying for the job.
